Anyone know when Toaster 4.0 for non-Flyers owners is supposed to ship? Someone
I do work for bought his Toaster 4000 in March and was supposed to get a free
upgrade to 4.0. He hasn't seen it yet, so I assume it is delayed.

After Video Toaster 4.1 for Flyer ships, adaptation of the Toaster-only version
will be completed and will ship.

Is there any timeframe for 4.1? Or should I know better not to ask? We we see
it before the end of the year?
Software development being what it is, the most we can honestly say is that 4.1
will ship when it is done. We may have one or more interim updates posted
here and on the BBS prior to 4.1 (virtual certainty there), and as of the
latest I heard Traz is trying to make Toaster-qualifying the software pretty
much concurrent with the other remaining implementations for 4.1. I don't
expect that to take to the end of the year.

The traffic around here lately is mainly regarding Flyer owners. I hope the
Toaster users won't be left out.
The traffic around here is largely being posted by Flyer and Lightwave owners
right now, but I do get some good ol' Toaster business now and then! Whenever
they have a question or a comment…. 🙂

Since the Flyer IS the toaster (that can play back and record video and
audio) Pay attention, and be glad that we are working things out for everyone
else.
