Greetings! I have recently purchased Lightwave 4.0 for the PC. I have used 3DS Rel 4 and find LW 4.0 fantastic. I have a question: Is there anyway to clone an object and all of its children? As an example I would like to clone the upper part of an arm and just flip it to make another arm with the linking and pivot points in place. Anyone got any tips to make this process easier? Any help would be greatly appreciated. JP

Let's see if I can help you… I think that the most simple and effective way to do that is: – Make a scene with your complete whole object (That means with all the objetcs parented, keyframed, etc.) – Save the scene. (Maybe you'd like delete all the lights in it before saving… But it's very important as you'll see next! – Go to the objects panel and select 'load from scene'. – Select and load the just saved scene many times as you like to load your 'complex object'. – Simply, not? – Use that always you want to get into action complex animate characters. For example, you can make a dove paented to a null, make all the keys, select the endbehavoir to repeat and save the scene. Next time you can 'loa from scene' the dove and make it fly only moving the null object.. I think is the right and easyest way to do that. Regards, Jose L. Gonzalo
