#vibrant drivers\win 95

Ever since I installed win95 I've run into problems with 3ds3.
My drivers are loading really slow, and the image quality stinks!
The change color menu displays no color at all, and when I try to run the IPAS
"displace or optimize", the rendered image is only 2 bit black& white.
please help

i guess it will not realy help you, but our technicans says: win95 is a fake,
pure bugware! no realy protectionmode etc. if you like i can send you a paper
with some datas ms don't like that they comes public…
it explains how w95 works realy and maybe you can find with this datas out what
you have to do.

Actually I've tracked down my problem…
I called the guys at VIBRANT and they told me that both ATI and Matrox graphic
cards do not work so well with 3dstudio. they studder for a bit then load.I
have a Matrox Impressions Plus (4mgs), therefore I suffer.
I would like that information about win95. My computer was running too
well… I needed to throw a wrench into it, to satisfy my need to solve
problems.

Whoaaaaa, hang on a second. I am just about to insert the Win 95 CD ROM and my
software bug guardian angel said "nooo, check the forum first, see if anyone is
having problems", and there you are. I have the same card. Just one question,
does it make any difference if you are running in 'DOS' mode, rather than a DOS
Window in Win 95 (such as in Win 3.1)? My life is too short to have to
re-install all my software. Quicker to write my own operating system (ah-hem).

I may Be just as lost as you…
I just got off the phone with vibrant, and I was informed that Matrox divers
load up slow on 3dstudio, it works, it looks good but it takes a little longer.
as far as everything else, its fine…
if you have herd of any information on the matrox impressions plus and
3dstudio please pass it on I'm not to sure that the guy at vibrant was telling
the truth .. at least I would like to think he was lying.
