GIFs to IFFs

Check in the Amiga Arts forum's libs. There should be an excellent
file titled, "GIF_View". I have used it for the same purpose you wish to,
that is change GIF's to IFF for use, in this case, with Final Writer. It
works quite well.

Louis, thanks for your advice on how to convert GIFs to IFFs. One
slight problem – I have downloaded the program GIF_View as you
recommended, but when I try to run it, I get the message "need
arp.library". Is this something that should have come with the
program? Ort can I get it separately? Any thoughts would be
appreciated. Thanks, Steve H.
Steve, you should be able to locate arp.library in the AmigaTech
forum's Libraries LIB. Another bit of advice RE GIF_View, if you
have a HD put it there instead of running it off of a floppy. I
found 9 time out of 10 it could not convert any GIF image due to lack
of room on the floppy.
