Hi, I'm trying to make animation flying through tunnel. Whenever camera turns up or down, it rolls strangely(almost flips 180deg). What is the best way to fix this problem? Thank you. Hansoo

>>camera flipping… Hello Hansoo, The camera gyrations are a result of the code that normally keeps the camera horizontal to the scene while moving it around. When aimed straight up or straight down, a singularity occurs where the direction "down" is ambiguous relative to the bottom of the camera viewport. There are several ways to work around this, depending on the situation. -Keep the camera slightly off vertical. You might build or position your tunnel mesh so no section is exactly vertical. -Instead moving the camera to a vertical position, keep the camera horizontal and rotate the world. This is not too hard to do if you link everything in the scene (including spotlights and targets) to a dummy and rotate the dummy. I use this when I need to fly from an overhead plan view down into a buliding. -Adjust the keys on each frame to counteract the rotation. This is messy. JKJ, Oak Ridge, TN

Thank you for the reply on Camera roll. I adjust camera frame by frame(not all but some) and it works but quite messy as you mentioned. Next time I will try your 2nd suggestion(rotating world). Thanks again Hansoo
