Hi everybody ! I need some help ! I've got the PVR video-out-board and I had to realize that there seems to be no possibility to render directly on the PVR disk (with 3DS). Does somebody have any drivers for it or can give me some advise, because this way i need double HD-capacity. Second problem is PVR with Adobe Premiere, any expieriences about that?? Many thanks Soeren from Hamburg/Germany

Are you using Abobe premiere v4.0a? I read a thread saying only V4.0a is compatible with the PVR. Please correct me if my memory serves me wrong! Bob Kohl Cedille inc. -Bob Kohl

Hi Bob! Thanks for the information. No I don't have 4.0a, do you know where to get an update? Maybe in the Adobe forum ?! But do you have any answers for my other problems ?

Soeren, << No I don't have 4.0a, do you know where to get an update?>> Sorry I don't. << Maybe in the Adobe forum ?!>> It's worth a try. << But do you have any answers for my other problems ?>> Don't have a PVR yet, but I'm trying to get one. Hopefully someone with experience will jump in and help you. Bob Kohl Cedille inc. -Bob Kohl

Although the PVR docs say that you need Premiere 4.0a, I did a demo of the PVR at a customer who had Premier 4.0, and the PVR worked OK! He was using a Soundblaster AWE32, although I use the Turtle Beach Tropez (for which there is also an NT driver in the TB library). So far I haven't been able to install the PAL WinNT s/w and get the driver to work, so if anyone else has got a working PAL PVR NT setup, I like to hear from them! Hans… There's a rumor that Premiere now has a PAR driver, but I'm not sure about one for the PVR. You ought to look into In Sync:'s SPEED RAZOR which was developed from the ground up to be compatible with the PVR. I'm hoping to get a PVR NT system up and running in a few weeks (worst case) so I envy you having it to play with! \\\. ========================= >-==<MIKE(>=– >-==*- /

Mike because I got Premiere, I will try the 4.0a Version, theres a Codec from DPS to use to bild AVI's, In my PVR-Users Guide is an Discription how to handle it. (-PAL-Version -). Do you know about a DoubleProzessor Motherbord with 4 PCI-Slots left, when installed the PVR plus AD3500 ? h.r.

Hans… I seem to recall that there was a dual-pentium mobo out there that could be used. It might've been a TITAN… but I'll check the magazines and see if there's anything obvious. BTW, if you need that much horsepower, maybe you should look at a DEC ALPHA with a 275 MHz RISC processor? \\\. ========================= >-==<MIKE(>=– >-==*- /

Thanks for all the information ! Please let me know when you got that IPAS-Module. BTW the PVR NT-Driver (Beta) for the English NT version is available at dcp's Website, where I bought my PVR: WWW.dcp.de.
