I guess all these Win 95 questions are getting to me. Isn't there a way you can freeze a post or two about W95? Something with a header like "What U need 4 Win95" frozen in this section would probably do the job. — James — Choreo Motion —

James: I have to agree, I don't quite know what to make of all of the people trying to force 3DS to function in the W95 environment. Just about everything I am used to running under WFWG runs fine or better under NT. I am making a very slow migration over to NT and I don't have too much trouble with the dual boot scenario. I'll see what we can do about getting a FAQ together or at least an archived thread for the libraries, however, I have no desire to give first hand experience on W95. <G> I'm still of the opinion that I will be happier for avoiding it and going straight to NT. – Bob Ritger

MArc, Although it is not officially supported, many users are using the current version of 3DS4 under WIN95 with no problems. The next release of 3D Studio (3DS MAX) is being developed as a WIN NT program. Check out the following files for info on 3DS MAX: Library 3 – Autodesk 3D Studio [76702,413] Yost Group 3DSMAX.ZIP Bin, Bytes: 30637 08-Aug-95 Title : Autodesk 3D Studio MAX, PR Archive.
