No compression, actually Geoff. the FLx format uses a Delta method, which is comprised of the first full image, and then only the pixels that *change* between frames. -Alan

Geoff Fli's/Flc's are using delta compression(?). First frame is stored completely, subsequent frame are only storing changed pixel info. There was a description of Flc's in Dr. Dobbs Journal last year, but I can't find a reference for it. Maybe someone else has the info. -Ted Boardman

This includes Listing One and Listing Two referred to in the article. Flic files are a sequence of still frames which can be flipped through to achieve the illusion of movement.
