I drove an hour and a half yesterday to purchase Gridiron, the football simulation game. Its well worth the time and money. While playing, I made mistakes players and coaches do (like blowing coverages and playing prevent too soon). I haven't tried NFL challenge yet, How do they compare? And lastly, I have a lot of trouble covering receivers one-on-one without bumping the receivers and getting called for pass interference. Any hints?

I've had Gridiron for about a month and I've found that the best defense you can make is as follows: Double man the ends with your corners and outside linebackers. Use your free safety to cover the TE. Go with a three man front and set inside LB to pursue. Use your Strong Safety back about 10 yds behind the NT, learn when to rush to plug the hole on the draw and trap, and when to play centerfield. At intermediate I can shut the computer down to 100 yrds or less for a 60 minute game. At advanced I get beat about 3 times so I give up 21 pts I alternate this defense and the 61 stunt on 1st down and go with this defense on all succeeding downs unless its 15 yrds or longer.
