Trent,
Geez… haven't seen your name here for awhile. Been lurkin' or did you
freeze?
Still up there on the tundra?
The Bobster….going Amiga 'til the hard drive dies.
Hey Bob,
Nope, neither lurking nor online for over a month. Had more to do
with a quicky temporary duty further up north for a month than
anything else (phone service is terrible up that far north (no
satellite service as too far north). Anyway, I'm now back down in
civilization (was in Montreal for a bit) and am about two hours away
from Edmonton. The ultra secure gov't job has now become a myth. The
civil service in Canada is taking a beating and will continue to take
a beating in the forseeable future (good! Now we can get 'real' jobs
<g>). So what's been happening in soggy (or is that foggy?)
Seattle? Get any snow yet?

One of the "Frozen Chosen"
No snow, just alot of Republicans. In fact I think Newt Ginrich wants to
annex Canada and turn it into one BIG "Boys Town".
If things go the Marxist dialect way, I may need to become a Canadian 'til
the curve starts its upward journey.
Keep in touch….actually thought about buying a power mac….I need
strenght…

Well, I did pick up a 386DX33 and plan to upgrade it to a 486DX66 (for
the games you understand <bg>), but I find I use Amy more than the
competition. Have never really seen one of the new Macs running anything.
Take care, and Happy New Year..

I feel Macs are a little more akin to the Amiga. Windows kinda looks
like a bad comic book….haven't seen OS/2 warp. Really can't afford
to do anything right now, tried to add 4 megs to my 3000 but it seems
we're talkin' $400(US) WOW….. maybe $150 for 3.1 would perk me
up (but it seems alittle querky on a 3000.
Happy new year……still at 2.04

Hell, at least you _have_ the ability to upgrade to 3.1. I have a 1200
and if I put in 3.1, I loose my PCMIA port (little loss, as I am not using
it, but in the future?) I say go for it.
