I need some help. I have a LASERGRAPHICS LFR film recorder that I
use in my business and I want to use it on my AMIGA also. It runs off the
PC serial port using their controller or it runs off of a MAC SCSI port
using their software. The question is, is there any way of programming
your SCSI port to act as a printer instead of a hard drive? If so can the
program be done with reasonable cost. I think I can write a program to
convert any IFF pic from the AMIGA to be accepted as a LASERGRAPHICS
picture using their programming language that I have. You can contact me

If you or someone else will loan us the film recorder we will write
the software to drive it (using the 24 bit data from SpectraScan).
In fact, let me make this a public solicitation for help getting in
touch with film recorder manufacturers.
We consider film recorder output to be a necessary outgrowth of our
work with SpectraScan. So far, we've be spectacularly unsuccessful
in getting in touch with film recorder manufacturers and getting
them interested.
So…if anyone has any contacts with film recorder makers (prefera-
bly one which operates over GPIB), please email me.
