#Cel Animator

Is Cel Animator just a pageflipper? Can you tell us more about it?
"Just a page flipper"? Hmmph! 8)
The text of a short brochure is in DL10. It is a page-flipper, with features
useful for creating cel-style animations. It has a pencil-test mode for
quickly checking animation movements. Each frame leaves an outline "trail" so
you can track the movement of each body part (for example).
You can edit the order of animation playback. You can synch sampled sounds
to the animation, and looping frames will result in looping sounds.
Single-stepping frames can also single-step the sound. You can type in a
memnonic(sp?) on each frame to help you remember what sound goes with it
(usually a phoneme). A complete professional exposure sheet can then be
printed.
It handles IFF and ANIMs (save & load in any combo), in any resolution or
mode. It's darn fast, and also interfaces with "Transport Controller" for
automatic single frame recording onto a VCR. It does have some limited paint
tools, but it isn't a Photon Paint.
Any other questions just shoot. —Mike
