It's really a judgement call on the LC-890. There are disadvantages to the LW
IINT and the Scrpit Ten too. I just wish I had a spare $40K to get the real
thing. Anyway, PMA stands for Professional Management Associates – a
research/consulting firm in the Washington, DC area. I'm one of two so-called
"PC experts" who works for them.

Oliver,
Thanks for your help. For what it's worth, I had a Linotronic 300 a few years
back, and was delighted to get rid of it (and the whole art department that
went with it). There's a lot better ways to spend 40 big ones, and it seems to
me that the whole output business is becoming just about like the 1-hour photo
business: lots of people doing it and nobody making any money!
