#Screen font display

Steve and Denise –
I have to apologize for not responding to your message sooner,
unfortunately my modem was on the blink. In the meantime I
have spoken to one of the technical support specialists here
at Adobe and I understand he is researching your problem.
Let "us" know what the final outcome is!

I recently spoke with Nelson from Adobe systems and he indicated that the
screen fonts display is controlled by my application (PC pagemaker). that is,
the dislay of the chosen typeface in point sizes in between the loaded ,
standard, bit-mapped PageMaker defaults to helvetica & times roman when
displaying in non-standard sizes. nelson's only suggestion was to change the
default size of the bit-mapped thru the control panel in windows. Any further
detailed info on that recommendation. I'd like to replace the uppermost limit
of 18pt. bitmapped with 24pt.. Another sideline. The adobe screen fonts
do not display at all when I increase my page view beyond 100%. Why not? I
have a sigma l-view monitor and often work in increased view.

Go to EDIT:PREFERENCES in PC PageMaker, not the Control Panel. Also try asking
on ALDUS or MSAPP forums.
