Dominick, you certainly may use my protocoll. It's not _quite_ done yet, but it will work on most of the things you want it to. I run a BBS here in Denver, so maybe you could get it off of it. The phone # is (303) 469-9862 – The Arvada 68K BBS. We are about to add a MIDI section to the board, so we should get some very interesting discussions going. Anyway, if you have another idea, let me know. I'll try to keep tabs here more often. BTW- I do have the DS series Library Card with 400 patches and 40 combos. Don't know if you have this, but it has some very nice patches. Also a few of my own that I use occasionally. Reid

Reid, Unfortunately, I wasn't available for about three weeks. I have taken your Denver BBS number and will try to download the Korg DS-8 protocol for Music-X. Thank you very much. I started to write my own, but encountered a few problems. I could receive patches, but not correctly send them. I also had trouble with the character map for the patch names, although I believe I entered it correctly right from the DS-8 manual. I'm anxious to see your protocol. I also just left a message for you here in the AmigaArts Forum. You can disregard it since we have now made contact again. I'd like to keep in touch concerning future protocols and Music-X. Thanks again Dom Fontana
