Cheath, Any chance of adding to the VERSION command the ability to check the AGNUS chip version? I just discovered that the chip I thought was the Fatter version which I installed to replace the older version was indeed just another copy of the old one! Until I started trying out the AMAX package and a program they had called CHECKCHIPS, I thought I was using the 1meg of chip ram. I think VERSION should also be able to verify the other custom chips version too! Or maybe AVAIL should check for the FATTER AGNUS instead of just listing the total chip ram available? What are your thoughts? chris

Chris, just running avail or that type of program will tell you how much chip ram you have. Ron
