I aggree with you about BaudBandit. I also have A-TalkIII , Diga, Online,
Access!, and Jrcomm(demo) and as far as the user interface goes BaudBandit wins
hands down. I was considering sending for a release version of Jrcomm but it
looks like I'll be sticking with BaudBandit for awhile. I would like to see a
stronger script language tho, how do you up/download with the scripts? Also the
script pairs have trouble recoginzing some prompts… I call the Lattice BBS
sometime and they have a -> for a prompt and the script pairs doesn't work with
it. Oh well maybe a later release will fix it. I thought I might have a older
version anyway because my version is 1.0. Do you know the current version? But
all and all Greg Cunningham has done it again<ie.diskmaster>. Tom Gray

Sorry, Tom – there doesn't appear to be an 'ABOUT' menu selection anywhere so I
can't ascertain the version number of my Baud Bandit. I assume it's been
around for a while from reading between the lines of your message – this is
certainly the first commercial release in Canada that I've heard about. I'm
starting to give up on programs that do 'everything', like ATalkIII and
WordPerfect. Sometimes the extra overhead is just too much hassle. With
products like ARexx you can get much more modular in your system configuration
and thus avoid the MicroSoft dinosaur approach to application development.
Agree with you about the scripting – it's certainly useful but is a good
first item to upgrade.
