When our system boots up it now says Battery Backed clock not found. Does this indicate that the battery needs replacement, or is it something more serious?

Walt & Karen, Most likely something has trashed the clock registers. If you have either WB 1.2 or WB 1.3.2, all you need to do is a SetClock RESET command to clear out the problem, and then set the date & time with a SetClock SAVE SetClock SAVE command. The version of SetClock that came with WB 1.3 will not do a proper RESET of the clock circuit. If you have WB 1.3, you can DL the WB 1.3.2 update from here and get the proper version of SetClock. Hope this helps. 8) David

Thanks! I don't know which version I have. Will reboot and see.

Thankyou, thank you! Even though I have Workbench 1.3, SetClock RESET worked just fine and my clock is as good as new!
