George, I had same problem with lack of documentation but as Don says the exact configuration isn't that critical with SCSI drives since they remap anyway. I'm currently running with the following device definitions on a 2090A. Don tried to explain to me how to config this as one partition but by the time I got the other bugs worked out I had come up with a reason for the 1 Meg part. SC1: Device = hddisk.device Unit = 3 Surfaces = 6 BlocksPerTrack = 20 MaxTransfer = 130560 LowCyl = 21 ; HighCyl = 1707 etc. BTW Quantum ships with the drive set for SCSI address 6. The jumpers are on top near the connector and I believe they're labled AR1 – AR3 (rear to front – least to most significant bit). If you need more detail info I was eventually able to find a tech manual around work and can give a try at deciphering it again. lGlamb

Larry, thanks a lot for the information. Between what you have given and what Don sent me in Message 2215, I think I can get this sucker to work. Again thanks, George 75016, 3441

OOPS! I intended to type Don's Message 2242, I don't know how I typed 2215. I guess I was so excited about getting the information. George
