Dale, The one game that is guaranteed to mess up is a game called "Drip". I don't know if it is up here in the library or not, but it is an excellent game, verging on commercial quality. The concept of the game is similar to a PacMan, except your character, "Drip", has to rust away the pipes that the bad guys are using to drain away your "party juice". Anyway, every so often a bubble floats by which your "drip" character can catch a ride on. It is the sprite for the bubble which distorts. The other game I notice it on is a Missile Command clone. It is also public domain, although I don't remember its actual name. I got it off of PeopleLink a long time ago. I suspect that the "cities" and "home base" may be sprites and the "home base" is the one that gets the random blocks of colored pixels in its neighborhood. Whap at ya later.

I don't have any of the games you mentioned, but I do have one called "MegaBall", v2. It's a Breakout clone, and the ball is a sprite that just shreds if the centering isn't pretty well to the right. I think I saw the upload announced here on CIS. Drip sounds like it should be fun. I'll have to look around for it. –dds (dales@teksce.SCE.TEK.COM) Whappeta-whappeta-Whap!

Dale, Thanks for the help with identifying the problem. It sure is nice when something goes wrong to be able to come up here for help instead of having to panic and then try to get help from the local dealer (who has half incompetent employees). Catch ya later and thanks again. Bob Kline – via Whap!
