Hello out there, I just took the time out to go and down load the file solar.zip, which took quite some time to get. Now I find that I can't use aaplay tu run the program. Any suggestions? I would like to think that if it's there, one could at least look at it using a pd viewer. Is this not the case? Any responses would be greatly appreciated. You can use the Trilobyte .FLC player called play73.zip in the "what's new" library section. It should play your files just fine! Graeme.

Tom, I finally figured it out, and when I did I got MAD. That file is downright PATHETIC! I can't believe I wasted so much connect time downloading it. If anyone else is reading this, don't bother! Bryan

Actually, I'd be fore deleting it from CompuServe. I finally got the thing Starting over…. Actually, it should be deleted from this section. Or is it part of CompuServe's way to pump up their revenues? A real waste of $$$. Very bogus. I agree totally with Bryan. Sysops: Please nix that file, ok? Great advertising from CompuServe, too! What's new, eh? grrrr…. 🙁 Tom

Well, we are quite reluctant about practicing that kind of censorship up on the forum. You are free, however, to warn other folks away from that file. Finally, if go to the feedback section of compuserve (GO FEEDBACK) and say that you were very unhappy with the file you downloaded, they will credit you for the download time. CIS wants happy customers and generally won't object unless you make a regular practice of it. You could also send feedback to the originator of the file. -GB-
