Arlice – you don't need a VGA card to participate in this forum. You participate by reading messages and replying to them, by uploading and downloading files to the data libraries, and by taking part in any conferences that happen. It looks like you're already doing it! Is there anything else in particular about Autodesk's multimedia programs (3D Studio, Animator Pro and Animator) or scientific programs (CA Lab or Chaos), which are the focus of this forum, that you'd like to know about? BTW, if you really ARE in the right forum, I think you have the wrong computer… the closest Autodesk and Apple get to each other is a Mac II version of AutoCAD. Dave

I Don't even think its POSSIBLE to put a VGA into an apple ][. Even if you could you would still be running the old 6802 processor, and ALL the software being discussed in this forum runs on Intel 8088/8086/80286/80386/486 based machines. Some of the software here (Animator-Pro and 3D Studio) REQUIRES at least a 386. Not only that but I think all the stuff here is written for at least 640K of memory, with several megs being the norm for Animator-Pro or 3D Studio, and a 48k or even 64K apple is never going to hack it in that respect either.
