3000 & Kickstart 1.3

Nevin,
Apparently it is. I've got an A3000 2.04KS disk here (don't have
the 3000, but CBM sent it to me along with the disks for the A2000).
Looking at it with a sector editor (since it's a KickStart disk, not a DOS
disk) the first KS on it is version 34.2 (28 October 1987). Same as shows
up on my A1000 1.3KS disk.

Yep, you're right. I tried it and it works just fine. BTW, do you know if
there is maintenance update for WordPerfect that makes it compatible with
2.0? I'm experiencing streaking text with my current version.
Nevin,
No idea on WordPerfect…you'll have to contact them about that.
Don
Yes Nevin, there is a 2.0 update to WordPerfect. It cost $12-15, and works
great! So far, I've had no problem. You get a new WP disk, and two new
print disks (one has additional drivers). Worth the $$ if you have 2.0 and
use WP.

I second that Derek. It's the january 1991 update and works fine with 2.0
(also adds Amiga style file requestor, some other requestor updates, the
really BAD print 'Preview' feature, more)…. well worth the minor cost.
I agree, but Nevin might also want to contact WP about the WP5.0 supposed
to be available RSN….

Actually, I heard in Ami Report On-line Magazine, that they (wp) were
going to announce 5.? at an upcoming show.

Thanks Derek! I'll give them a call tomorrow and order the upgrade.
