You buy it from Microsoft (approx. $50) if you didn't get it with your CD-ROM. There are 2 Replies.

What if you already have MSCDEX from an older dos? You still gotta buy a new one? I sure hope not! ac There is 1 Reply.

Upgrades (as opposed to the occasional release to fix a serious bug) to licensed software almost always cost money. You can argue the merits but not the facts.
