Until now I worked with PDS 7.10 and made some office-applications for my company. I used strictly the Toolbox and the Isam-Database, since I hoped that I could swap easely to windows later. Now there is Visual-Basic and I hear a lot of designing programs but never how to manage data. Is there also an ISAM awailable ? Or is it to early to switch to Windows. Any Ideas ? Hi Herbert, There are two products for ISAM/VGB that I have *heard* about on this forum. Coromandel indust. Inc 1-718-793-7963 Softbridge Source 1-510-623-7854 ($99) You may want to ask everyone here if they have had any experience with either. Don Funk

Hubert, there is a dBASE III+ (and partly dBASE IV) compatible toolbox for VB available – its name is db/VB and it comes from Marquis Computing. Further, this one is syntax compatible with db/LIB for QB/PDS from AJS. Since my company (Zoschke Data GmbH, Germany) is exclusive distributor for Marquis (db/VB is already available with comprehensive German Win 3 online help), you might leave your address in my private email (CS No. see above) and we'll send you a brochure and a demo. Regards, Harald
