Howdy, gang. I'm lucky enough to have some budget to play with here at work, and I've got an 8100/VideoVision/Premiere setup on order. What I could use a little help with is in recommendations for an NTSC monitor. At MacWorld yesterday, most exhibitors who were showing off Premiere were using a small Sony monitor. Does anyone know the model #, how much they run (I was hearing in the $400-$500 range, and where you can pick one up in the San Jose, CA area? Thanks for any help! You may consider going to your local consumer electronics store and buying a 14" color TV with a composite input. This way you can use it as a monitor and playback the tapes you create through it too. You'll see your tapes like everyone else will. The 14" Sony monitor I know of runs closer to $800.
