We are nearing release of a fairly large-scale VB package. One of our
documentation specialists is trying to generate the appropriate help
material using the Help Compiler.
For the most part, things are going smoothly. However, she wishes to edit
some captured bit maps from our screens and insert them. When she follows
the instructions for doing this, she gets all sorts of error messages,
mostly involving illegal or nonexistant files. The procedure works with MS
supplied icon files as long as they are not edited. Edited BMP's give it
the tizzies.
Any ideas?
