Has anyone had any problems using VB under Norton Desktop for Windows. I notice a comment in the VB-TIPS file. I've had several problems from the dreaded UAE to the mouse ceasing to respond to the buttons. No problem running under ProgMan. One of the main culprits seems to be "Sleeper" the screen blanker. Disabling Sleeper seems to have cured, at least my last session. Norton denies any knowledge & MSoft tech support has no knowledge of this problem. Derek There is 1 Reply.

John, The key, perhaps, to the question posed before, is the screen blanker. I did some tests the other day on a printing routine I'm using in an app. With After Dark loaded, printing took almost three times as long as with it unloaded. Obviously, the timers in After Dark are just using up too much time. I imagine that there could be other problems as well. In my apps, I notice that the less stuff I have going on simultaneously in Windows, the less often I see the UAE box. George
