#Redirect print? HelpPlz!

Hi, can anyone help me? I don't have a printer connected to the
Bridgeboard side of my system, and anyway I want the output of a program
which runs on the BB to go to a file rther than the printer. I want this
so I can transfer the (ASCII) output over to the Amy side and edit it.
The program, of course (a commercial one) has no options except
"print to printer." I'm using the original Bridgeboard in a 2000 with HD &
floppy.
Can anyone tell me how to redirect all "print" output (which
normally goes to PRN or LPT1, I suppose), to a file instead, so when I run
the program it "prints" to the file instead of trying to send it to the
parallel port (or printer)?

You need the PRN2FILE utility on PCMAG. You can GO PCMAG to get to the
ZiffNet and download this utility. According to the documentation, it
should redirect your printer port to a filename. Of course you can always
subscribe to PC Magazine and look for it on their utility diskettes or
order it from them.
Incidently, there are other neat utilities sponsored by PC Magazine that
can be useful. Now some of them do conflict with programs that appropriate
the keyboard interrupts such as XYWrite. Some experimentation is in order
to verify that a particular combination of programs are compatible and in
what degree.
