Betty, I have had a bit of a problem with the program call DeckBrowser. I downloaded it to be able to run the utility program for Whap!. I have a sneeking suspicion that it is not totally compatable with AmigaDOS 2.04. Is this true? If so is there another program short of CANDO that will allow me to run this utility? Thanks, Jeff – via Whap!

Jeff, DeckBrowser is the utility provided by Innovatronics to run CANDO applications. I have CANDO, but I still use DeckBrowser to check out CANDO applications all the time. However, I'm not using 2.04, so – I can only say that I don't know. I had not heard of it failing under 2.04, but I've not been able to use it for myself. Betty

Thanks Betty, I would like to find out more about this if anyone else out there has some information. It seems to have something to do with screen swapping. Any time it is invoked I get a screen jitter that won't quit and my system slows down like you wouldn't believe. I noticed that there is a newer version of CanDo that is 2.0 compatable and that Deckbrowser is over a year and a half old. Who knows? Thanks again, Jeff – via Whap!

Jeff, The best place to get information is in the Innovatronics section of AmigaVendor. They check there almost every day and are VERY good about answering questions. Betty

Jeff, the latest version of DeckBrowser, which is what you need, can be found in the AmigaVendor INOVAtronics section. Later.
