Am quite happy with my DAK CDROM (nearly a year now). Some hard
questions:
Can the DAK "BSR" run from a usual scsi port (as on Pro Audio Spectrum
sound card), or must it use the sony card that comes with it?
Also, daisy chaining other cdroms (not sony)? Or multi-platter cdrom?
Any possibility of upgrade to read-buffer from 8K to 64K to meet
multimedia standards for future?
I just cannot get through to tech support – consistently (GE 10 X/d) busy,
and i'm in same time zone.

Ed,
The BSR is not a SCSI drive. It uses a proprietary Sony interface. You
can daisy chain additional Sony 6201 drives, but obviously no SCSI devices.
Some people here are looking into a possible upgrade on the buffer size.
Not sure if this possible, but will let you know when I hear something.
