Any body knows why Par sent me the message "Par drive corrupted, must be formatted" with no apparent reason. No power failures, no viruses, no nothing. I lost a few good animations thanks to this. Have this ever happened to someone before?. How can I prevent that?. -Help !. (I can't believe what happened)- Mauricio.-Some Chirstmas ha!.

Mauricio, By some chance did you delete files in a project directory and then the project directory itself. This was a problem with versions of the software earlier than 1.34b. If not then keep an eye on the heat building up on the harddrive. The Micropolis drives are noted for getting hot!! Try a fan on the drive if necessary. The DPS has a BBS with the latest drivers for the PAR. Mike Morgan, CAD Forms Inc.

I've gotten the same problem WITH v1.34b. Other problems too. I've got plenty of cooling. I think DPS has flakey software. Ian.

I agree, "many problems" and "flakey" are the terms I use to describe DPS when my kids are in the room – I have much more descriptive words when they're not. Does the phrase "make a quick buck" ring any bells?
