There is a program floating around called 'frags' which will show the
actual sizes of pieces of memory. I'm not sure where it is in LIBs. I
find this useful mostly to see what MY programs have done to memory, but
you might find it instructive.

Isn't there also a program to de-frag memory that a program has left in a
fragmented state?
BTW hows OC? I kinda miss Irvine at times. Though not for long!

while I know of no program to defrag memory, if you use "Avail Flush",
it will remove all currently unused libraries and device modules.

memory is de-fragged as it's returned from programs. There is no way
to coalesce the pieces because there is no assurance that you can find all
the pointers to the parts that are not free.
OC is find (hot right now) and still has too d*mn many people (I can't
wait to move to Wyoming).
