Are you talking about that building with the two HUGH smoke stacks? It looked
like it was more of a stage-show oriented place (or maybe that was another
building adjacent — hard to remember — I'll have to check my photos).
I was fairly sick for the whole trip, but Baltimore was one of my good days.
Heck, even on one of my not-so-good days, I managed to down a couple beers at
DC's Brickskeller (zillions of micro-brews from round the world in a basement
dive). <g> Cute beer-knowledgable gal tending bar, too!

Yep, that's the existing power plant building. It was gutted and converted to
some other use but closed shop. I don't recall exactly what it was used for.

Bob,
For your information, Nick Lowe will be appearing at a small club called
Toad's Place in New Haven, CT on January 25. For more info call
203-624-TOAD. Honest! Ticket prices are usually $8.50.
BTW I happen to be a rockpile fan myself.

New Haven is a hike for me but this should put him in NYC the week before or
after. Could be time to gather the troops for a 3DS ASOFT night out. Dave
Marks and I have been looking for an excuse to pull this off. I'll check the
papers to see when he plays in NYC. What do you think?
Bob
Where are you located?
Asoft night out sounds like trouble. The last time I tried that found
Alan I., Wade S., Martin F., Tom R., Jeff R., Tim L., and many more
howlin' at the moon but hey, COUNT ME IN. I haven't "lost time" since
then. We could always call Budd Hopkins.

I'm in Princeton, N.J. Who's Budd Hopkins?
Bob
Bud Hopkins is the fameous UFO abduction researcher of Communion fame.
He wrote a book on Lost Time, somthing related to alien abduction.
Just thought I'd go out on a limb, I've seen so many strange postings
across the forum here lately just figured it was my turn. <g>

Oh, that Bud Hopkins.
