>>SIA does not have payroll nor purchase orders.
It also does not have error correction, ability to review bills or
purchases, or handle dates correctly when the day of the month has more
than two digits. When I called the publisher about these problems, he said
it was obviously my fault.

I'm sure I'll regret asking you this (sounds like a set-up to me) but which
days of the month have more than 2 digits? (longest month I can think of
only has 31 days in it)
Julian calendar dates?
>> Which days of the month have more than 2 digits
Sorry, I ment two digits. When I would enter that date Aug 24,1991 into
SIA, it would use the date Aug 24 1909.

Well, in the Nov. Amazing, SIA is being announced as a new product. Maybe
it's been updated……

Maybe it is a new version, but I had a copy last year (in summer of 91) and
returned it to the dealer as inadaquate and buggy.

Yup! (Well I haven't had the date problem, but…) It would be nice to see
a truly serious accounting package (2.0 specific) that didn't have the
cute symbolic garbage representing your books. And, yes, an easier error
correction capability would be nice. I restore a prior copy of the files
if I've choked on a transaction.
