The only rejoinder about having 2 meg of CHIP RAM, is that those few programs that were designed ONLY for 512K may not like it, but those are relatively few, nowadays. Real World:southern Illinois, USA Internet:ca0008 at siucvmb.siu.edu

Jim, What programs have problems with more than 512K of CHIP ram? If you have a list I'd certainly like to see it. (I'll make it available to my tech department) Dean DKB Software

I had some game(s) from a LONG time ago from one of the foreign companies that refused to operated with anything MORE than 512K of CHIP RAM. I discarded that game quite some time ago. The tech rep for the company verified the limitation: they told me to disable all of my CHIP RAM above 512K, and even suggested removing my Megachip 2000 so as to be able to accomplish that. I said "no way" and said "goodbye" to the game. Real World:southern Illinois, USA Internet:ca0008 at siucvmb.siu.edu

Thanks for the insights Jim… Yeah I have a 512k Agnus and I can't load some of the soundtracker modules without booting from 1.3. But I can't wait to get one, money permitting. Later… James
