#CDROM for Novell

I am looking for an inexpensive (cheap) way to mount a CDROM on my Novell network with about 15 users on it. What is the best and/or cheapest way to do this? Bob

Are you talking about software drivers for the Novell Network? There are two sources. One is SCSIexpress by MDI and Corel has one check out there forum. (GO COREL)

Yes, I want an NLM driver and a SCSI CDROM drive for the lowest sensible price. It seems to be that the NEC 74 with the SCSI Express NLM is the way to go. A Juke Box is in the future for us, but we need to get something going right away. Bob.

Bob, the SCSI Express software (NLM's) support CD-ROM's, WORM drives and Multi-Function Optical. All in one package. The support for jukeboxes is additional and goes across platforms (I think). I can get you a number for the product if you want. -Clarke

Bob, you might look at the SCSI EXPRESS product. It's a NLM, which allows you to mount a SCSI CD-ROM as a volume. I understand that COREL (go COREL) also sells a product that allows shared access to CD-ROM's across a Novell net. -Clarke
