tell me more about distant suns… I have seen a few reviews, but I am
sober, so I can't remember what it is<g>…. Is it just a planetarium type
program, or is it along the lines of a fractal scenery generator? I am
looking for a program that will tax my 030 board so I can compare it with a
stock amiga…

Distant Suns is a planetarium program which gives you views of the
night sky from any place on earth within (approx) 10000 years of the
present. While it can tax a slower machine, the fractal landscape
generator that you are thinking of is VistaPro, Distant Suns sister
product. Now, that will have your 030 begging for mercy. <grin>
