#CAD/3d House modeling

Hello All:
I'm looking for some CAD or 3d modeling software that would be suitable for
design an addition and remodel of my home. I'd like to be able to see what
the different options we have look like with a 3d model.
I recall a couple or three years ago a package I believe was called
HomeBuilders CAD. Does anyone know if it's still available or where I
could get a copy?

I purchased DeckBuilders CAD when it came out and it was awful. The mag
reviews of HomeBuilders CAD however, were very complimentary, though I've
never seen it. You might phone around to some of the mailorder houses to
see if they have any copies left… but beware, it may not be compatible
with 2.0x.
HomeBuilders CAD is no longer listed the Amazing Guide.
Michael, Thanks for the info. I too recall the complimentary reviews, but
haven't seen it for awhile. I'll give the Mailorder outfits a try.

I don't know if Home Builders CAD is still available but I did get an
Upgrad to 2.0 less than a year ago. The interface is real klunky but it
will do what you want. There is even an option package that will output
your plans in Scult 4D format so you can design an animation that swoops
thru every room of your house (you can even put furniture and pictures in
it)!. If you can't find it let me know and I can dig up the address and
ph #. And it is OS 2.0 compatible, really a very powerful package if you
can deal with the interface.

Is your version produced by EaseWare? I ask this, because I found their
phone number and address in an old Amazing Computing Review issue and the
number is disconnected. I'm hopeing someone else is distributing it. So,

Yes HBCad v2.0 is by Easeware, The # and address on the back of the
manuel is: Easeware 11160F South Lakes Drive Suite 305, Reston Va.
22091. Ph # is (703)-709-9686. I have never had to call them for
support (as I do not use the product that much) and what I have done with
it is pretty straight forward. If you need any further help just ask.
