Hi, i am low end user wanting to edit my home videos with music and
effects. I work as a videotape editer but DTV is new to me. I have
bought the Apple Video System which came with VideoSop 2.0. My
problem is that the bundle came with a video-in card but I dont know
what I need for video out. (I hope this doesnt sound to naive) I have
spoken to a few computer stores and they couldnt help me. I have a
Performer 630. If any one out there can givr me some advice I would
be very thankful. Also can anyone could recomonend a good book for
DTV and VideoShop.

For home video use one of the inexpensive units designed for bussiness
presentations should work (such as Tvator, found at MacWarehouse) – but only at
image size your Mac can display on Videoshop's Print to Video function. I have
not tried this yet but am considering it for low cost output from my Mac.
