Hello, folks… I am installing the v.6.0 SAS/C — actually, upgrading from 5.10 — and am having problems linking. I get undefined external references to things like GT_ReplyIMsg, SetMenuStrip, OpenLibrary, PrintIText, etc. etc… which I would like to think should be found in Amiga.lib. I'm running 2.0, and am using the right .h and libraries…. ((i think)) … and this stuff linked just fine with 5.10. Does this sound familiar to anyone???? By the way the stuff was generated by GadToolsBox v. 1.3… is there a new version of that program available here ? Thanking all in advance…. … Whapped from Jeff P.

I'm not sure why you should have any trouble linking, unless you aren't linking with the right library, or have missed some needed headers. Are you including the correct prototype headers for those functions? –>Steve Bennett

Thanks for the suggestions….. but I must admit (with an embarrassed grin) that I figured out my problem a few hours after posting my help message… Seems I'd somehow clobbered amiga.lib, probably while setting up an smakefile for some stuff that I'd been compiling from out of the CLI prior to the new release. Anyway, I re-copied amiga.lib from the distribution diskette, found the problem(s) with my smakefile, and now it's all working just GREAT. … Whapped from Jeff P.

Hi Jeff, In reference to your last question, the lastest version of GadToolsBox I have is 1.4a. It's just under 200K. Shout if you want it uploaded (unless someone has a newer version. Steve the G (Steve Goddard 100014,674) [BEDFORDSHIRE, UK]
