Great news, Karl. I'm so glad you have it working. But – why would you need JRComm in order to use Whap? —Betty

Betty; I need a comm package so I can login to CIS with my Amiga… doesn't do much good to download WHAP! to the IBM…. But, I was looking through my boxes, and I found Diga! which I bought sometime ago, here on CIS, so I will install it on the Amiga, and try logging in later tonight… Karl

After you get Whap!, I'd recommend that you also get BackTalk. It works extremely well as a hands-on terminal program to use with Whap! when you want to stay online and do non-automatic things. —Betty

If you're gonna try and use Diga!, I suggest the only thing you use it for is to download another comm program….and then quit using Diga!. There are much better programs available in the libraries. Steve PS. Glad you got the CD-ROM working!

You will notice my name and Willy Langeveld's name in the beta tester's credits. What those credits do not show are the recommendations we and every other of the beta testers gave them about releasing the program in its then current state. It has some interesting ideas in it. But it was flakey then and probably VERY flakey now on newer OSs. Indeed – the highest use for Diga! is to download something real like VLT. (Or for CIS use only grab AutoPilot and save connect time $$$.) {@_@}
