#SCSI Express problems?

Has anybody had any experience using SCSI Express (on NetWare 3.11) with
any of the following CD-ROM's: UMI's New York Times, EBSCO Magazine Article
Summaries, Newsbank's Chicago Tribune, Facts On File, Oxford English
Dictionary, 2nd ed., Granger's Poetry Index? If so,we would like to know if
you had any problems. Thanks.

After reviewing a list of CDs that we have had in-house for testing, I
could find none of those titles on it. The only source of problems will
arise from the following:
1) The CD is not in ISO 9660 or High Sierra format
2) The mastering process did not create the CD according to the above
formats
3) Applications on the CD work through a DOS device driver
If the CD's applications look only for the MSDOS extensions, then we have a
TSR which will load on the workstations and emulate the extensions. If you
do have any problems using these CDs, please contact our technical support
staff at 407-677-8333×149.

Eric, I could *really* use that TSR that emulates MSCDEX for programs that
rely on the dos drivers being present before loading. Do you perhaps sell

The OPTI-NET NLM uses an architecture which guarantees
compatibility with virtually all CD-ROM applications. OPTI-NET is
compatible with CD-ROMs that are not in the ISO 9660/High sierra format,
but conform to the lower level Yellow book standard. OPTI-NET will work
with CD-ROM applications that communicate via the Microsoft Extensions
internal interface (Int 2F), as well as with applications that communicate
at the CD-ROM device driver level.
