Does anyone know how to replace the 880k drive in an A500 with a high density drive?

Sheldon, You unplug the first drive and plug in the new drive. The new drive MUST be one of the variable speed drives available from Commodore. You also must be using the 2.04 ROM from Commodore and the 2.1 update software for it to work properly. Don

Where do I get the 2.1 update software? I haven't seen or read anything about it. Not surprising, since I also haven't seen or heard anything in the press about the A4000. Also, what is model number for the drive? Karl

Karl, Your dealer should have both the 2.1 Janus update and the part number, and possibly the HD drive itself. Don
