Hi ALL, I was wondering if there were any 3DStudio magazines or good news-letters that would be helpfull for the beginer showing hints, tips and other usefull information? Thank you, Steven "Just bought my copy of 3DSR2" Walters #70524,634

Greg Pyros, I'm sure will tell you how to subscribe to "3rd Dimension", a 3DS-specific newsletter that he is involved with, Steven. Also, you might try Bill Allen's 3D Artist (505.982.3532), which is Desktop-3D specific and provides insight and "how to's" relating to 3D Studio. Both real good stuff. Congratulations for buying a great program! -Alan Iglesias

In addition to the magazines Alan mentioned, you might want to have a look at PC Presentations/Productions. This magazine is geared to computer graphics and desktop video for the PC platform. Lots of informative articles every month, many of which deal specifically with 3D Studio. Danny…

Hi Steven! In addition to Mr. Pyros' newsletter, there is 3D Artist [$22 for 12 issues – order now, there's a price increase Oct. 15 — (505)982-3532] which does deal with 3DS (often w/ articles by forum members), and Computer Artist (918)831-9405. Also, Computer Graphics World (918)835-3161, ext.400, Presentation Products (PO Box 1142, Skokie, IL 60076), and High Color (207)236-6267 for starters. Some of these mags will come free, if you meet their specific criteria. Dave
