Sorry Bro, but "DUDE" is in NO WAY a Derogatory Term as far as I'm
concerned. as to the Bit about coming from a "Town" you totally lost
me there. A Dude is a Dude, Someone you hang with. a Buddy a Bro.
Don't feel bad I call EVERYBODY "DUDE" at least if they are male else
I call em Dudette.
As to doing "FREEBIES", I do em all the time Simply because my
Livlihood has very little to do with wether I make $$$ from 3D
animation or not. My "REGULAR" job pays fairly well and so if I can
help a budding Producer I will. To an Extent of Course, for example
if they Turmn around and SELL MY WORK or Fail to Give me Credit I get
VERY unhappy and they lose in the long run. The Folks at "The Chronic
Rift" are ACTIVELY promoting my work which is in essence FREE
Advertising. "I" feel that if I don't have a PAYING customer waiting
and a budding Production is in need of some FX I'll do it. Sometimes
I do "FREE" work for other folks which in turn gets me access to
"FREE" work from them along the lines of a BARTER system if you will.
Just like if I did a FREE Still Image for a Newletter/Magazine. it
gets my name and Company name FREE Advertising.

ROFL 😀
Hey, I'm doing some free things, too. It always depends on who you are working
for and what he is going to do with it.

Glad we cleared that up. Well David, soon we shall probably do
another "Amiga Gang" Tape, I hope you contribute some of your work as
well even tho you Don't use an Amiga you Still hang out with "The
Amiga Gang" so let see some of yer work Dude.
> Amiga Gang Tape Well, as you know I just bought Imagine a few weeks
ago, so the animations I made so far are not exactly perfect <BG> I
have uploaded three animations to the graphic developers forum Sec 14,
but they are more first results than really what I want to do. What
I really want to do is something that doesn't look like reality,
something that you watch and don't know what it is. OR absolutely
realistic looking things (like Jurassic Park). Unfortunately I'm far
away from both <g>
IMHO the movements (of camera and objects) are the most important
thing that makes animations really look good. Take a look at Jurassic
Park (and forget the animations for a while). The camera is always
mooving, they use the dolly whereever they can. The movement in the
picture makes the things become alive. -David
Don't worry about Technical Quality for "Amiga Gang" tape since it's just
a chance to see each others wok and hopefully inspire or get inspired by
it.
ok, as soon as I have more that just first results, I'll let you know. What
format do you want?
Well if Jerry is kind enuff to do the tape again, he can accept
3/4",SVHS or VHS. EGADS I just realized you're in GERMANY and using a
PAL system. I don't think Jerry has a Converter. BLAST!!!!!
