#Panasonic KX-P2123 & TP3
7 messages in this thread
Hello all!
Perhaps anyone can tell me how to properly install TurboPrint with a Panasonic
KX-P2123 connected.
It takes approx. 11 (eleven!) minutes to print a 5.5K-Wordworth-File. The
outprint is about two pages long, and has no pictures or drawings in it, just
plain text. I know that Wordworth converts every document to a graphical
object, which then is printed, but should it last for such a long time?
I got 1MB Chip, 2MB 16-Bit-Fast, 4MB 32-Bit-Fast, A2630 (68030 & 68882),
TurboPrint 3.0 and the above mentioned printer.
Any help would be appreciated…. Rob
Five or six minutes per page of text would be about par for the course on a
68030, longer if there are graphics on the pages. An 040 would speed that up to
about two minutes per page of text.

I didn't knew that it's a normal time, that's a pitty!
Rob.
Have you tried the original Panasonic KXP 2123 driver available here on CIS? I
wrote that driver for Panasonic and it's basicly the same driver as the
PinDriver shiped with the Digita Print Manager. The only difference is, that
the driver was specialy adopted to the KXP.

I'm going to search right NOW.
Danke schon! Rob.
Hi Robert,
I noticed in your messege you say you have Turboprint 3.0. I have 2.02 and I
didn't know there was a newer release. Where did you get it and who is the
distributor now if you happen to know? I would like to check on an upgrade.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Terry,
I just checked it – yes, it IS Turboprint 3.0! 🙂
I bought it at the "Hobbytronic" – a computer exhibition like the CeBIT – here
in Germany, there was a special offer by a computer store I do not know the
name now, sorry! Ask your local dealer, he/she should be able to contact
IrseeSoft, the producer.
Bye, Rob.
