Betty: I have 6MB of ram so that should be plenty of memory. Do you know of any
way to check to see if I really installed the 4MB of Ram and have it in my
system. The only thing I can find is the 80M
Joan,
If you type AVAIL at a CLI prompt, you will get a report on your memory – how
much chip, how much fast, how much is in use and how much free, etc.
So – how about your hard drive? Do you have plenty of room on it for unpacking
AP onto it? It takes close to 5M.
You get information about the free space on your drive by typing INFO, and
about the memory by typing AVAIL.
Hang in there, Joan. You're learning a lot about your computer, and we're
almost there, I think.
