Adam, Can you tell me if PatchMeister can be used for editing/storing data for audio DSP devices that are midi capable. For example using it with the Lxp-15 from Lexicon, or the QuadraVerb from Alesis. If yes, does the sftwr allow the end user to create templates to work with any/all devices that are midi capable? Chris, The PatchMeister is a Universal Librarian only and not an Editor. It will allow you to save MIDI data, rearrange and catalogue it, and then retrieve it. If there is no supplied driver for your MIDI device, you can creat a driver for it yourself, but some familiarity with Hex and SysEx programming is needed. However, there are no templates involved with the program at all in order to create editors for your MIDI gear. Good luck. Dom Fontana –> Sent from NY via AP <–

Not true…not true!! There is absolutely no need to try to get a copy of Xor, there is a much better alternative… MIDIQuest by Soundquest, a Canadian company is outstanding. I have used it since V1.0, it is now up to 3.0, with 4.0 just around the corner and it just keeps getting better. It supports a LOT of instruments, and the graphical editors are very good. And it works well in conjunction with Patchmeister if you want the integration with B&P! Bill… on Autopilot in Womelsdorf 😉

yes, it is very easy to create templates for librarian functions… there is also a program to create editor templates… but I don't know what the status of that is… you'll have to check with the company! Bill… on Autopilot in Womelsdorf 😉

Chris, Yes, MIDI Quest allows you to create librarian drivers, but you have to buy a separate program called Tech Quest to create your own editor templates. Dom Fontana –> Sent from NY via AP <–
