Hello all, Once again I am posting my request for anyone selling a 3000. Xmas is coming, might you need a little extra cash. Does that 3000 sit around most of the time? Please send me details on your system setup (Motherboard rev, any HDs (Type/Manufacturer/Age), Memory in system and type, age of system and use, CPU type and any coprocessors (MHz). Drop me E-Mail or leave a message in this forum. Ciao for now, Shawn

Why don't you look in the AmigaWorld magazine. The vendors in there are selling 3000's in there at clearance prices.

Thanks for your input, But the whole idea is to see if someone would like to sell a used 3000. Most of the people here in this forum read AmigaWorld (Unfortunatly it is THE only major General Publication for Amigians). The problem there is that most of the vendors in AmigaWorld know that leaving very little competition. Not to mention while looking in AmigaWorld I see only one vendor selling them (not counting mother- boards). Hardly what I would call competition. If anyone knows a side vendor who is selling 3000's let me know. No offense to the speciality pubs, that are wonderful, and I hope prosper where some have failed. 🙂 I would like to find someone that doesn't want their system because they might want a 4000 or need the cash or space. I would pay top dollar based on age and what a new one cost these days. I have been a buyer/seller here within the Classifieds for some time and so far I have gotten a few good deals here while passing on a few of my own (grin). Long Live Amiga! So come one come all. I am working on a special project so the faster the response the better.

I thought Video Toaster User was the major general publication for Amigans.

Naaa, Being a Toaster user myself I would have to say that VT User isn't a major General Amiga Pub but a speciality pub due to the slant on its readers. If I had a OpalVision board or a IV24 I might not be willing to read VT User. However, Again I would love to see more General Amiga Pubs but alas we (Amiga Users in general) do not constitute a large enough base yet (grin). However, Amigians are boldly appearing in several wonderful trade magazines and getting some well deserved attention. (one even quoted as saying "Amiga, worth another look."). Today ABC, tommorow the Amiga Channel (naaaaaa 🙂 ).

You mean you can get an Amiga without the Video Toaster? All by itself?
